About the Challenge

Reach the Peaks is the premier hiking challenge in North Carolina. The event is organized by the Stokes County Arts Council in collaboration with Hanging Rock State Park. 2020 celebrates the eighth year of this event.

The challenge is a strenuous hike (or run!) that will test participants to summit the five major peaks of Hanging Rock State Park, including: Hanging Rock, Wolf Rock, House Rock, Cook’s Wall, and Moore’s Knob.

Finishers receive a commemorative patch and memories of a lifetime!
